Analy had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 62-51 win over the Novato Hornets on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Analy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryce Homem led the charge by putting up 11 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Owen Ruffino, who posted eight points and four steals.

Looking ahead, Analy will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Technology at 3:00 p.m. As for Novato, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mt. Diablo at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
