Baseball Recap: Gordonsville Tigers vs. Clay County Bulldogs
Gordonsville can now show off five landslide victories after their most recent contest on Monday. They blew past the Clay County Bulldogs 11-1. The win was just what Gordonsville needed coming off of an 8-1 loss in their prior matchup.
The team relied heavily on Brodie Sykes, who scored three runs and stole three bases while going 2-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of John (jay) Foster, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3.
Gordonsville now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Clay County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
Gordonsville will have a chance to go back-to-back against Clay County: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
