Meanwhile, after a string of four wins, Basis Independent Silicon Valley's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They fell 87-78 to Summit Shasta. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (63), the Bobcats still had to take the loss.

The Nueva School's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Basis Independent Silicon Valley, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.
