Baseball Recap: Prague Takes a Loss

Prague was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 5-2 to the Stroud Tigers. The Red Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Prague's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Stroud, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-5 record this season.

Prague will host Chandler at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Chandler's pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so Prague's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Stroud, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 14-6 victory against Davenport on the 29th.
