Softball Recap: Jackson Ironman/Ironladies vs. Waverly Tigers
Jackson was the 8-5 winner over Waverly when they last played one another back in April, but their luck changed this time around. The Ironman/Ironladies fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 2-1 on Thursday. Ironman/Ironladies fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Tigers since Thursday.
Serenity Taylor spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned runs on eight hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
