Baseball Recap: Fillmore Takes a Loss

Fillmore entered their game against York on Saturday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-1 to the Golden Knights, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Fillmore saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Damon Potter, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run.

Fillmore's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for York, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Fillmore will square off against Pavilion at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 3.9, the Golden Gophers 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. York does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
