Basketball Recap: Eldon Takes a Loss

Eldon lost against Hallsville back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Eldon Mustangs were outmatched by the Hallsville Indians and fell 74-47. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 432nd, while the Indians are ranked 43rd).

Eldon dropped their record down to 3-7 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Hallsville, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-3.

Eldon has already played their next matchup (against Blair Oaks), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hallsville, they have already played their next game, a 94-43 win against Versailles on the 11th.
