There's no place like home for Canyon del Oro, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They blew past the Vista Grande Spartans 3-0 on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Dorados in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won nine in a row.

Canyon del Oro not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Vista Grande between 14 and 17 points across their sets. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-14, 25-16.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Canyon del Oro to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaycee Cook, who had ten digs and four assists. Lila Schladweiler was another key player, getting eight assists and two aces.

Canyon del Oro was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least nine aces in eight consecutive contests.

Canyon del Oro's win bumped their record up to 15-13. As for Vista Grande, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-16 record this season.
