Prairie Ridge won against Sylvan Hills on Monday with three runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. Prairie Ridge beat the Rivercrest Colts by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 3-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Wolves, who have now won three matchups in a row.

Sean Sherwood was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up a single hit in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

In other pitching news, Owen Satterlee tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out seven over 5.1 innings pitched.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Maddon McKim, who went 1-for-2 with one triple, one stolen base, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

Prairie Ridge's record now sits at 3-1-1. As for Rivercrest, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 0-7.

Coming up, Prairie Ridge will venture away from home to challenge Plano at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday. As for Rivercrest, they will welcome Grant Community at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
