Platte Canyon waltzed into their match on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Arvada Bulldogs by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Huskies also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Platte Canyon had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-19, 25-13, 25-14.

Hanne Rhue paced Platte Canyon's offense, picking up 13 kills. Rhue got some help from Brooke Chick and her 19 assists. Chick was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

The win got Platte Canyon back to even at 7-7. As for Arvada, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

Platte Canyon has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Clear Creek on the 3rd. As for Arvada, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Lake County on the 3rd.
