Basketball Game Preview: Sentinel Spartans vs. Big Sky Eagles

Sentinel and Big Sky are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Sentinel Spartans will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Big Sky Eagles at 6:00 p.m. The two teams were dealt some close losses in their previous games and are determined not to let this one get away.

Last Tuesday, Sentinel didn't have quite enough to beat Butte and fell 51-49.

Big Sky has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were three points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 44-41 heartbreaker at the hands of Hellgate. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Eagles have suffered since March 2, 2024.

Sentinel dropped their record down to 4-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road. As for Big Sky, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-4.
