The Bronchos were outmatched by the Tigers and fell 47-6. The matchup marked the Bronchos' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for San Angelo Central, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They walked away with a 34-27 victory over Midland on Saturday. The score was all tied up 17-17 at the break, but the Bobcats were the better team in the second half.

Odessa's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for San Angelo Central, their win was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 4-4.
