Softball Recap: Churubusco Comes Up Short

Churubusco lost against Fort Wayne Northrop back in May of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles lost 10-3 to the Bruins. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Churubusco's loss dropped their record down to 17-9. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 13-11 record this season.

Churubusco does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Fort Wayne Northrop, they will square off against Carroll at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Chargers will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Bruins surely won't give up without a fight.
