Baseball Game Preview: Seffner Christian Crusaders vs. Northside Christian Mustangs

For the second straight game, Seffner Christian will face off against Northside Christian. The Crusaders are taking a road trip to take on the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Seffner Christian heads in on the heels of a playoff game on Monday. They lost 10-0 to Northside Christian. Considering the last time the Crusaders couldn't score was back in February, the team can't take the result too hard.

For Northside Christian's part, Merric Hunt tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out six over five innings pitched. Hunt has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on James Pitts, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Austin Ogles was another key player, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one run.
