Football Game Preview: Southern Lab Kittens vs. Kaplan Pirates

The Southern Lab Kittens will challenge the Kaplan Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.

On Friday, Southern Lab lost to Madison Prep Academy at home by a 32-14 margin. The loss continues a trend for the Kittens in their meetings with Madison Prep Academy: they've now lost six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Kaplan). Everything went their way against Patterson on Friday as they made off with a 51-31 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pirates in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won five in a row.

Southern Lab now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Kaplan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-2.

Southern Lab suffered a grim 40-20 defeat to Kaplan in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Kittens were down 32-8.
