Karson Fox leads a balanced attack to beat Plumas Charter

Recap: Los Molinos Bulldogs vs. Plumas Charter Warriors

The Los Molinos Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three contests by 20 points or more this season. They were the clear victor by a 55-31 margin over Plumas Charter. The victory was all the more spectacular given Los Molinos' disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 963rd, while Plumas Charter is ranked 387th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Los Molinos to victory, but perhaps none more so than Karson Fox, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 14 rebounds. The matchup was Fox's fifth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ty Walker, who scored 12 points along with four steals.

Despite the defeat, Plumas Charter saw an underclassman step up: Dalton Bentz scored 13 points along with five rebounds. Bentz scored a full 41.9% of Plumas Charter's points, the eighth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Owen Joseph, who scored eight points along with three steals.

The victory got Los Molinos back to even at 5-5. As for Plumas Charter, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season.

Los Molinos won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Hamilton at 8:30 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Hamilton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Thursday. Plumas Charter won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Etna at 7:00 p.m. on December 15th.
