Lone Star has gone 8-1 against Creekview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The two teams will compete for holiday cheer at 7:15 p.m. Lone Star will be strutting in after a win while Creekview will be coming in after a defeat.

Last Tuesday, Lone Star beat Panther Creek 77-69. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Rangers.

Meanwhile, Creekview ended up a good deal behind Montwood on Thursday and lost 48-31. While losing is never fun, the Mustangs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 758th, while the Rams are ranked 313th).

The victory got Lone Star back to even at 8-8. As for Creekview, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Lone Star took their win against Creekview when the teams last played back in February by a conclusive 70-50. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lone Star since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
