Baseball Recap: Mountain Ridge Victorious

Mountain Ridge saw some tournament action on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Etiwanda Eagles 5-3.

Stockton Fowlks was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Ethan Iacono was another key player, going 1-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

Mountain Ridge's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Etiwanda, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-6-1.

Mountain Ridge and Etiwanda will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Sentinels are set to square off against their familiar foe Herriman at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Etiwanda will face off against rival Damien at 3:15 p.m. on Monday.
