Softball Recap: Ridge Spring-Monetta Wins Going Away Against Calhoun County

Ridge Spring-Monetta won the last time they faced Calhoun County and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans put the hurt on the Saints with a sharp 24-10 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Ridge Spring-Monetta and bumps their season record up to 6-6. The team dominated over those games too, winning by an average of 14 runs. As for Calhoun County, they dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Ridge Spring-Monetta will host Horse Creek Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Stallions have now posted at least ten runs in their last four contests. As for Calhoun County, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on North at 6:00 p.m. on May 2.
