Softball Recap: Southeast Lauderdale Takes a Loss

Southeast Lauderdale lost against Union back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Southeast Lauderdale Tigers took a 10-6 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Union Yellowjackets.

Karly Hollingsworth was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrianna Stephens, who went 1-for-4 with one home run and two runs.

Southeast Lauderdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Union, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Southeast Lauderdale will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on McLaurin at 6:30 p.m. on March 18th. McLaurin knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past three contests -- so hopefully Southeast Lauderdale likes a good challenge. As for Union, they will challenge Brandon at 12:45 p.m. on Friday.
