Softball Game Preview: Adams Central Flying Jets vs. New Haven Bulldogs

Adams Central is on a six-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and New Haven a five-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Adams Central Flying Jets will be playing at home against the New Haven Bulldogs at 5:30 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Adams Central fell victim to Central Noble and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Cougars, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Flying Jets' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Meanwhile, New Haven also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 11-0 to Bellmont on Monday.

New Haven's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Adams Central, their loss dropped their record down to 1-11.

Adams Central took their win against New Haven when the teams last played back in May of 2018 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Do the Flying Jets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
