Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Jackson Murray and Dax Parvin Lead Laramie to Victory

Laramie won the last time they faced Cody and things went their way on Friday too. The Plainsmen secured a 45-39 W over the Broncs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Plainsmen.

Leading Laramie to victory were Dax Parvin and Jackson Murray. Parvin almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine rebounds, while Murray posted 13 points. Those nine boards gave Parvin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Blase Goetz, who put up seven points.

Laramie's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Cody, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Laramie and Kelly Walsh will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. As for Cody, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lander Valley at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2026.
