Basketball Recap: Pawnee Triumphs

Pawnee waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They pulled ahead with a 57-56 photo finish over the Newkirk Tigers. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 47-38 back in December of 2024.

Pawnee now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Newkirk, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Pawnee will be playing in front of their home fans against Frontier at 8:15 p.m. on Thursday. Frontier will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Pawnee surely won't give up without a fight. As for Newkirk, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 80-26 defeat against Washington on the 8th.
