Temple Baptist hasn't had much luck against Pinnacle Classical Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. Temple Baptist is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They breezed past Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy to the tune of 74-28 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for Temple Baptist in their matchups with Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Pinnacle Classical Academy ended up a good deal behind Christian Family Academy on Friday and lost 57-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 582nd, while the Fire are ranked 282nd).

Temple Baptist will have to contain Ashilyn Lee as he made an impact in Pinnacle Classical Academy's last game. He went 6-for-12 on his way to 14 points and five steals. Maddox McFalls was another key player, putting up eight points.

Temple Baptist's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Pinnacle Classical Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.

Temple Baptist was dealt a bruising 86-46 defeat at the hands of Pinnacle Classical Academy in their previous meeting back in January of 2025.
