Pike Road lost to Opelika back in March of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Pike Road Patriots walked away with a 6-2 victory over the Opelika Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Patriots.

Addison Belyeu was incredible, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-2. She also put up a stolen base, which washer first of the season. Another player making a difference was Kasyn Wilson, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Pike Road's record now sits at 2-4. As for Opelika, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pike Road will head out to face off against Holtville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Opelika, they will venture away from home to square off against Russell County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
