Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burbank). They had just enough and edged the Brackenridge Eagles out 3-2. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their nine-game losing streak.

Burbank's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-9. As for Brackenridge, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Sam Houston the next time they take the pitch. Burbank will head out to face Sam Houston at 8:15 p.m. on Friday, while Brackenridge will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
