Volleyball Recap: Stratford Red Devils vs. Lauralton Hall Crusaders

After losing to Lauralton Hall the last time they met, Stratford decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Red Devils came out on top against the Crusaders by a score of 3-1 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Devils.
Stratford was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 19-25, 25-9, 25-11.
Audrey North paced Stratford's offense, picking up ten kills. North got some help from Olivia North and her 25 assists. Olivia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with nine aces.
Lauralton Hall lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carti Foran, who had nine assists and three aces. Briana Ukehaxhaj was another key player, getting six digs and two aces.
Stratford's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Lauralton Hall, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-15.
Stratford wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Harding on the 13th. As for Lauralton Hall, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Griswold on the 15th.
