Softball Recap: Eastern Lebanon County Continues Road Dominance on Monday

Eastern Lebanon County barely beat Annville-Cleona the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Eastern Lebanon County was the clear victor by a 17-2 margin over Annville-Cleona on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Raiders, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Eastern Lebanon County pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Annville-Cleona, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Lebanon County will square off against West York Area at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. West York Area has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.17 runs per game on average), something Eastern Lebanon County will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Annville-Cleona, they will face off against Lebanon at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
