There's no place like home for Northwood, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Seaforth Hawks by a score of 6-3 on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Chargers: when they faced off against the Hawks last Tuesday, they had to take a 1-0 loss.

Northwood is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Seaforth, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Northwood wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, an 18-4 victory against Southwestern Randolph on the 2nd. As for Seaforth, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Southeast Alamance at 7:00 p.m. on the 8th. The Stallions' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Hawks' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
