Volleyball Recap: Wakulla's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Five

Wakulla came tearing into Tuesday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Suwannee Bulldogs. For the War Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Bulldogs walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Wakulla wouldn't go down easily and took Suwannee into a fifth set where they got it done with a six-point win. The final score came out to 25-20, 26-24, 18-25, 19-25, 15-9.

Amariyah Donaldson paced Wakulla's offense, picking up 11 kills. Donaldson got some help from Parker Stubbs and her ten assists. Donaldson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sophia Stolk, racking up two apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Suwannee lost, don't look at Avery Music. Despite the final result, she had eight digs and two blocks. With that strong performance, Music is now averaging an impressive 12.1 assists per game. Ansleigh Kelley was another key player, getting nine digs and four aces.

Wakulla's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Suwannee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Wakulla will host Sneads at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Suwannee, they are taking a road trip to take on Columbia at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
