Kade Atkinson Turns in Season-Best Performance
On Friday, South Haven Christian got the W thanks in part to Kade Atkinson playing the best football he has all season. Atkinson rushed for 228 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.7 yards per carry, and also threw for 38 yards and a touchdown. He didn't just play on offense: he also forced a fumble, made nine total tackles, and defended a pass.
The victory (which was South Haven Christian's fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1. Atkinson and South Haven Christian will stay at home for another week and welcome Tri-Cities Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
