Hutchinson has no trouble against Eisenhower

The Hutchinson Salthawks waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They strolled past Eisenhower with points to spare, taking the game 70-54. Given Hutchinson's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Eisenhower is ranked 179th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Despite the loss, Eisenhower still got an impressive performance from Arjay Daracan, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Daracan has scored all season. Chase George was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with three steals.

Hutchinson's win bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Eisenhower, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hutchinson will face off against Maize on Friday. Hutchinson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 215 points over their last three contests. As for Eisenhower, they will head out on the road to square off against Salina Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Eisenhower is coming into the match with six straight losses on the road, meaning Salina Central will have to defend against a team hungry for a win.
