Wink came tearing into Monday's match with 11 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Sonora Broncos. That's more bragging rights for the Wildcats, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

While Wink won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-17, 26-24.

Leading Wink to victory were Player #3 and Brinley Baker. Player #3 had three digs and three aces, while Baker had six digs and two aces. Player #3 has been hot recently, having also posted 13 or more assists the last three times she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Wink was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matchups.

Despite the loss, Sonora still got an impressive performance from Dianna Silva, who had eight digs and two aces.

Wink's record is now 28-15. As for Sonora, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 20-19.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wink will challenge Christoval at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sonora, they will face off against Stacey at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
