Crestwood is a perfect 8-0 against Cardinal since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Red Devils will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 5:00 p.m. Crestwood is looking for their season's first victory.

Crestwood fell victim to Wickliffe and their airtight pitching crew on Wednesday. They lost 11-0 to the Blue Devils. The match marked the first time this year in which the Red Devils were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Cardinal also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against Edgewood on Wednesday, falling 15-0.

Cardinal saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ivy Kaminski, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Cardinal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Crestwood, their loss dropped their record down to 0-7.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Monday as neither team is afraid to steal. Crestwood has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Cardinal struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.

Crestwood took their win against Cardinal in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 11-1 score. Will the Red Devils repeat their success, or do the Huskies have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
