Basketball Recap: Mounds Comes Up Short

Mounds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They had to suffer through a 60-14 loss at the hands of the Porter Pirates. The game marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mounds' defeat dropped their record down to 3-17. As for Porter, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Mounds will be playing at home against Hulbert at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Porter, they will venture away from home to challenge Liberty at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
