Basketball Recap: Allen Piles Up the Points Against Tishomingo

Allen came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 35 points) and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 60-30 victory over the Tishomingo Indians. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 30 points or more this season.

Allen's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Prentice, who almost dropped a double-double with 12 points and nine steals. That's the most steals Prentice has posted since back in January of 2024. Cherish Woodward was another key player, putting up 13 points in addition to six boards and five steals.

Allen pushed their record up to 19-4 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.7 points over those games. As for Tishomingo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 9-10 record this season.

Allen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tishomingo, they will take on Atoka at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
