Latin won the last time they faced Chicago University and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Romans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Maroons 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Romans.

Latin had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 15-25, 25-17, 25-21.

Latin's victory bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Chicago University, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Latin will welcome Beacon Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Chicago University, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against DePaul College Prep at 6:00 p.m.
