Volleyball Recap: Midway Victorious

Midway's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They came out on top against the Holden Eagles by a score of 2-0. The Vikings were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Eagles, so the Vikings were just returning the favor.

Midway's offense was headlined by Dakota Dean and Madi Mcclellan, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Ella Lyon and her ten assists. Dean was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Midway now has a winning record of 11-10-3. As for Holden, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-17-1 record this season.

Midway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Lakeland on the 11th. Holden has also already played their next matchup (against Sherwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
