Volleyball Game Preview: C.B. Aycock Golden Falcons vs. Fike Golden Demons + How To Watch

C.B. Aycock is 8-2 against Fike since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Golden Falcons will be playing at home against the Golden Demons at 5:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

C.B. Aycock had won two straight games and Ava Jenkins did her part to make it three on Tuesday. The Golden Falcons blew past Rocky Mount 3-0 for which the team can thank Jenkins, who had 19 assists and seven aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

C.B. Aycock's got stronger as the match went on, holding Rocky Mount to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-17, 25-13, 25-9.

C.B. Aycock's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Ella Moyer, who had 11 digs, and Avery Fricks, who had three digs and three aces.

They weren't the only good servers: C.B. Aycock was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in eight consecutive matchups.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Fike, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Southern Wayne on Thursday. The win continues a trend for the Golden Demons in their matchups with the Saints: they've now won four in a row.

The victory got C.B. Aycock back to even at 10-10. As for Fike, the win got them back to even at 9-9.

C.B. Aycock beat Fike 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. Will the Golden Falcons repeat their success, or do the Golden Demons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
