Volleyball Recap: Alcona Comes Up Short

Alcona was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Mio HomeSchool.

Alcona's loss dropped their record down to 17-10-4. As for Mio HomeSchool, their victory bumped their record up to 13-18-5.

Coincidentally, Alcona and Mio HomeSchool will both be playing Grayling the next time they take the court. The Tigers will head out to face the Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Mio HomeSchool will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
