Softball Recap: Summit SkyHawks vs. Carter Lions

After losing to Carter the last time they met, Summit decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The SkyHawks walked away with an 8-5 win over the Lions on Wednesday.

Desi Varerla looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.
