It's playoff time, and Fort Wayne Snider had no trouble coming through when it counted. Everything went their way against the Homestead Spartans on Saturday as they made off with a 9-1 victory. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Noah Hess spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on six hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Landen Fry, who went 2-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI.

Fort Wayne Snider has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for Homestead, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 23-7 record.

Looking ahead, Fort Wayne Snider will take on Valparaiso on Saturday. The Vikings will roll in looking for their 18th straight win, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight. Homestead does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
