Basketball Recap: Umatilla Comes Up Short

Umatilla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were beaten by the Osceola Warriors 69-31. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Eleven Williams continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Osceola, going 6 for 11 on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds. That's the most boards Williams has posted since back in January of 2024. Talon Brooks was another key player, going 7 of 11 on his way to 17 points.

Umatilla's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Osceola, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season.

Umatilla wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 41-38 win against Hollins on the 28th. As for Osceola, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 79-49 defeat against Tampa Prep on the 28th.
