Beechwood led 1A District 4 in scoring this week after putting up 49 points on Bellevue.
Ludlow's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Panthers feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Mitchell Cody has thrown for 479 yards and six touchdowns this season, while Zach Cole has 11 catches for 207 yards. Anthony Jordan leads the league in rushing with 161 yards.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Beechwood takes on second place Dayton. The Tigers topped the Tigers last week, while Dayton bested Ludlow.
Beechwood made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,925 from 4,422. The improvement was the result of 49-20 victory over Bellevue last week.
