Football Game Preview: Campbell vs. Dan River

Dan River will challenge Campbell on the road at 7:00 PM on Friday. Dan River are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the matchup prepared for a fight.

After constant struggles on the road, Dan River have finally found some success away from home. They had enough points to win and then some against Chatham last Friday, taking their contest 34-18. Dan River found Dan River's leader in underclassman freshman Nasir Coles, who rushed for 94 yards and 2 touchdowns. In fact, with 14 tackles Biagioni was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, we expected Campbell to have trouble with the significantly higher-ranked Appomattox County, and they did. Campbell suffered a grim 13-41 defeat to Appomattox County. Campbell's defeat continues a disappointing trend for the team, making it three losses in a row.

Dan River's victory lifted them to 3-4 while Campbell's loss dropped them down to 4-3. We'll see if Dan River's success rolls on or if Campbell are able to steal their positive momentum.
