Basketball Recap: Evansville Christian Comes Up Short

Evansville Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 43-36 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bloomfield Cardinals. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 320th, while the Cardinals are ranked 137th).

Evansville Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Bloomfield, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-7.

Evansville Christian will take on Tecumseh at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bloomfield, a feisty cat fight is on tap when the Bloomfield Cardinals take on the North Daviess Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
