Baseball Recap: Phoebus Comes Up Short

Warwick hit Phoebus with a six-run third inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Phantoms lost 12-2 to the Raiders. The Phantoms haven't had much luck with the Raiders recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Phoebus saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Josiah (Beaux) Moore, who went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Phoebus' loss dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Warwick, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7.

Phoebus does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Warwick, they will head out on the road to take on Hampton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
