There's no place like home for The Putnam City Pirates, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Thursday. They blew past Putnam City North 56-20 at home. The result was nothing new for Putnam City, who have now won three contests by 29 points or more so far this season.

Judson Keefer was on fire: he threw for 391 yards and five touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also caught a touchdown. Keefer was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards. The team also got some help courtesy of Davien Taylor, who picked up 186 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
