Football Game Preview: Good Hope Raiders vs. Fairview Aggies + How To Watch

Good Hope hasn't had much luck against Fairview recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Aggies at 7:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Good Hope had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 20-point drubbing they dealt Dora on Friday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 35-15 margin over the Bulldogs. The Raiders pushed the score to 28-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Bulldogs cut but never quite recovered from.

Parker Johnson was a one-man wrecking crew as he rushed for 258 yards and three TDs on only nine carries.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Good Hope was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 298 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Fairview strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They breezed past East Limestone to the tune of 40-10. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 33-3.

Fairview's win came from a few key players Good Hope will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jake Harper, who rushed for 175 yards and one touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 121 rushing yards dating back to last season. Kolt Redding was another key passer, throwing for 174 yards and four TDs while completing 76.5% of his passes.

Good Hope's record now sits at 8-1. As for Fairview, their record is now 9-0.

Good Hope was taken down by Fairview 48-21 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Harper, who rushed for 282 yards and four scores on only 15 carries, and also threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes.
