Northwest Halifax is 0-9 against Weldon since October of 2015 but things could change on Saturday. The Vikings will host the Chargers at 2:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

On Friday, Northwest Halifax was beaten by Northampton County 34-6.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Weldon's offense. They were outmatched by Warren County and fell 63-0. The loss continues a trend for the Chargers in their meetings with the Eagles: they've now lost four in a row.

Weldon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Northwest Halifax, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.

Northwest Halifax was dealt a bruising 52-6 defeat at the hands of Weldon in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
